TEACHER CHALKBOARD ERASERS

To make these, you need:
:Chalkboard erasers
:Paintbrushes
:Paints- I used Delta Ceramcoats- Bambi Brown, Black, White, Rose Cloud, Village Green, Tide Pool Blue, Custard Yellow
:Stylus-to dot the lettering- or the opposite end of your paintbrush
:Black Permanent Pen-Micron Pigma OR Sharpie Ultra Fine Pen
:Krylon Matte Finish Spray
Sandpaper-if needed

Pattern: See Below
This project is approx. 5 in. X  2 in. (12 cm. X 5 cm.)

2 Teach is...
1. Remove the sticker from the eraser, if there is one. There were stickers on mine and I had to sand the wood after a little, too
2. Base coat the eraser, the inside with BLACK, outside border with BAMBI BROWN. Let dry.
3. Following the pattern, add the lettering using TIDE POOL BLUE and WHITE. Then add the girl, boy and heart with CUSTARD YELLOW, VILLAGE GREEN and ROSE CLOUD.
4. Dot lettering with the Stylus, or the other end of your paintbrush. Let dry.
5. Finish with a matte spray.

Teachers Rule
1. Remove the sticker from the eraser, if there is one. There were stickers on mine and I had to sand the wood after a little, too

4.Using a ruler, place marks (inches or centimeters) and paint lines and add numbers. Let dry.
5. Finish with a matte spray.

Definitions of WORDS in BOLD

BASE COAT- to apply the base color to the wood. Some projects will require the whole project to be base coated. Some will need only parts to be base coated.
FINISH- coating your project with a protective varnish. Matte spray gives a better finish than a glossy spray.
